About Loïc

I build at the intersection of Bitcoin, stablecoins, fintech and community.

I’m a builder, educator and community organizer from Benin. My work is focused on making financial technology more useful, understandable and accessible across Africa.

Portrait of Loïc Kassa

My journey started with crypto more broadly, exploring digital assets and the possibilities they created around money and payments.

Over time, my focus shifted toward Bitcoin, while my work with fintech companies gave me a deeper understanding of payments, operations and market development across West Africa.

Bitcoin eventually became more than an asset or a technology to me — it became a way to think differently about money, build useful financial products and create stronger communities.

Along the way, I worked with stablecoins and digital payments, built relationships across the financial ecosystem, and became increasingly involved in Bitcoin education and adoption. Today, I bring these worlds together through the products, communities and experiences I build.

I believe technology matters most when people can actually use it.

Bitcoin, stablecoins and financial infrastructure are powerful, but adoption happens when products are simple, education is accessible and communities are strong.

Products, communities and spaces for people to build around Bitcoin.

Have something worth building together?

I’m always open to conversations around Bitcoin, stablecoins, fintech, education, community and opportunities across Africa.
